Team and individual awards were handed out as UT Arlington celebrated the success and accomplishments during the 2008-2009 academic year.

The UT Arlington volleyball team will conclude its spring scrimmage schedule this weekend with three matches at the TCU Volleyball Spring Tournament in Fort Worth. The Mavericks will face TCU, Texas Wesleyan and North Texas during its final scrimmage weekend.

The UT Arlington volleyball team continues its spring schedule on Saturday, April 18, with a tournament consisting of four scrimmages at SMU at Moody Coliseum. The Mavericks started their spring competition on March 26 with four scrimmages at Texas State.

The UT Arlington volleyball program will begin its spring schedule on Saturday, March 28, with four scrimmages against Texas State, Baylor, UTSA and Blinn College in San Marcos. Texas State is hosting this weekend's scrimmages that are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. at Strahan Coliseum.

UT ARLINGTON VOLLEYBALL LANDS 10 ON SLC ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL

The UT Arlington volleyball program had 10 players named to the Fall 2008 Capital One/Southland Conference Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll which was announced by the SLC on Thursday. The Mavericks were one of only four SLC programs to have at least 10 student-athletes named to the list.
